The Park After Dark series provides fun, free experiences for all ages, combining education, entertainment, and history at the Frisco Historic Park & Museum. Events happen seasonally, so keep checking back to see what’s next!

Summer 2024 Events

August 3, 2024 – 9:00pm
Astronomy at the Historic Park Gazebo

AstroMark is back with a New Moon Guided Tour on August 3, 2024, at the Historic Park Gazebo! Tours are first come, first serve with registration and check-in at the Schoolhouse Museum starting at 8:45pm. More details on sign-ups and tour times to come!

Please bring a jacket and wear comfortable shoes. AstroMark’s team will set up free telescopes in the Historic Park to get a close-up look at the night sky from 8:45pm to 10:30pm.

August 16, 2024 – 6:00pm
Owls and the Night Sky at the Historic Park Gazebo

Do you love owls? We sure do! Join the Raptor Education Foundation in the Historic Park Gazebo on August 16, 2024, at 6:00pm to learn all about owls, bird migration, and their natural habitat- the night sky. No registration is required, but seating is first come, first serve.

September 21, 2024 – 6:30pm
Silent Disco at the Historic Park Gazebo

Come dance under the night sky with a free Silent Disco on September 21, 2024, at 6:30pm. No registration is required! Building Hope will be on-site serving mocktails alongside a free pop-up temporary, water-based tattoo booth.
