Family Friendly Activities for the Fourth in Frisco

Spending time in Frisco around the 4th of July? We’ve got you covered with family friendly activities that you and your whole family can enjoy all week long.

Family Friendly Frisco Activities

Boating

Enjoy a fun-filled day on Dillon Reservoir by renting boats at the Frisco Bay Marina. From pontoon boats, to tandem kayaks and 3-person canoes, the Marina has all that you need to soak up some sun on the water. Don’t forget to make your reservations ahead of time!

Hiking

Take in the beautiful views of Frisco with some easy hikes the whole family will love. Jody’s Nugget Loop is a local favorite. This 2.3 mile loop is all about breathtaking views of Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range. Another family favorite is the Old Dillon Reservoir trail, a 1.6-mile hike that brings adventurers to the Old Dillon Reservoir.

Frisco Adventure Park

The Frisco Adventure Park is home to some amazing free activities for all ages and abilities. With a bike park that includes a pump track for beginners and younger children and a skate park for the avid skateboarder in your family, the Adventure Park has something for almost everyone.

Ice Cream

After a fun filled day outside, refuel with some sweet treats. Frisco’s Main Street is home to two ice cream shops that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. I Scream Gelato serves fresh gelato, milkshakes, and smoothies. Foote’s Rest serves homemade ice cream and fudge, as well as other candies and sweet treats.

Frisco’s Fabulous 4th of July

With big town amenities and amazing outdoor opportunities, yet a friendly, small-town feel, Frisco is the ideal place to make 4th of July memories. Check out what’s happening in Frisco on July 4, 2023!

8:00am – 9:00am: Frisco’s Free Kids’ Fishing Derby at Meadow Creek Park
8:00am – 11:00am: Team Summit Pancake Breakfast at 110 3rd Avenue
1:00pm: Parade on Main Street followed by activities on Main Street
4:00pm – 6:00pm: Free Concert on Main Street featuring Yonder Mountain String Band

Frisco History Day

Saturday, July 8, 2023: 9:00am – 6:00pm

This year Frisco History Day celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Frisco Historic Park & Museum. Learn about Frisco’s past, present, and future with a full day of historic family activities. Enjoy burro rides sponsored by Credit Union of the Rockies, take home crafts with Sunny Side Up Studio, facepainting, an old-time photo booth, gold panning, an arts and craft tent, flower crowns from Lady Sunshine, touchable artifacts, live music and more.
