Arts and Culture Council Offering $500 Stipends for Artful July 4th Parade Floats

The newly formed Frisco Arts and Culture Council will be providing up to eight $500 stipends to create artful and whimsical floats for the Frisco 4th of July parade. The floats may be motorized or non-motorized, and floats must register for the Frisco 4^th of July parade by Sunday, July 2.  

Parade Float Stipend Details

The stipend application must be submitted by June 23, 2023 and should include a simple design description and at least one sketch of the design. Stipends will be awarded on a rolling basis as long as funds are available and designs are uniquely artful and whimsical celebrations of July 4^th in Frisco.

Artful Parade Awards

The Frisco Arts and Culture Council will also be awarding prizes after the parade to the most artful and whimsical 4th of July parade floats: 1st place- $550, 2nd place $350, and 3rd place $150. Floats must be registered for the Frisco 4^th of July parade by Sunday, July 2 to be eligible for these prizes.
