The Frisco Historic Park and Museum recently announced a new community event series, taking place this fall. The free Park After Dark Series, sponsored by Alpine Bank, provides fun, educational, and historic experiences for all ages. On Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm, enjoy star gazing with Astro Mark, and on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 6:30 pm-9:30 pm dance the night away at the silent disco.
Star Gazing with Astro Mark on Saturday, September 16, 2023
On Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm at the Historic Park Gazebo, learn about the night sky and how to navigate the stars with Astro Mark during a new moon. Identify constellations while learning their history and mythology during a free walking laser-guided tour and exploring Summit County’s sky with free telescopes.
The walking laser-guided tours will run at 8:00 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:00 pm and last 30 minutes. Advanced registration for the 8:00 pm tour is recommended to ensure your spot, while the 8:30 pm tour and 9:00 pm tour will be first-come, first-serve. Silent Disco on Saturday, September 30, 2023
When the Old Town Hall first opened, the celebration in its honor made the newspaper’s front page the next morning. During its lifetime, the Old Town Hall would continue to hold many dances for the local community. On Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm at the Frisco Historic Park, celebrate the official end of summer and welcome fall to Frisco with a modern-day dance, a silent disco. There will be a DJ providing multiple channels to choose between on wireless headphones.

Frisco Historic Park and Museum Information
The Frisco Historic Park & Museum provides the opportunity to travel back in time to experience history in an up-close and personal way right on Frisco’s Main Street. The Museum’s collection of original historic buildings, including the Schoolhouse Museum, contains artifacts, exhibits, and photographs that tell the lively stories of Frisco’s past and reflect the Summit County philosophy of embracing history while also connecting it to our lives today.
