Frisco Bay Marina Opens Boat Ramp and Extends Hours for Summer Season

The Frisco Bay Marina boat ramp is now open for the 2023 summer season, with extended hours, which are weather and water level dependent. The free public boat ramp will operate seven days a week on a varied schedule with the longest hours on weekends to accommodate peak demand. The Marina rental operations will also offer extended hours throughout the season – weather and water level dependent. According to the Denver Water website on June 12, 2023, Dillon Reservoir is currently 98% full.

New Hours of Operation

The boat ramp at the Frisco Bay Marina is open for the season offering extended hours:

  • Monday – Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Saturday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

New extended operating hours at the Marina for the summer 2023 season:

  • June 3 – August 13 open seven days a week from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • August 14 – September 3 open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • September 4 – October 15 open seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Parking

Paid parking at all Frisco Bay Marina lots started on Friday, May 26, 2023 and continues through Monday, September 4, 2023, seven days a week from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. This parking program was started in 2022 to encourage parking space turnover and the use of public transportation and pedestrian and bike travel.

Located on the shores of Dillon Reservoir at the eastern end of Frisco Main Street, the Frisco Bay Marina is where lake life meets quintessential mountain town. At just over 9,000 feet in elevation, this certified clean marina is an ideal access point to Dillon Reservoir. The Frisco Bay Marina rents pontoon and fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and fishing poles from late May through the end of September. The Marina also boasts a 400-foot sandy beach, sailing lessons, kayak tours, a water taxi service between Frisco and Dillon, a rowing club, and dining at the Island Grill.
